Amazon Biotech Announces Postponement of Shareholder Meeting on 14A Filing

Amazon Biotech, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AMZO) (FRANKFURT: B2DA) announced that the 14A shareholder meeting set for July 17, 2008, to elect a three member Board of Directors and to address such other matters that may properly come before the meeting has been postponed in order to allow time to file a preliminary 14A ahead of the meeting on the 14A filing. The company will announce a new meeting date in the near future.
Amazon Biotech, Inc. is a natural plant pharmaceutical drug company, primarily developing immunomodulator drugs. AMZ0026 is the Company's first such drug to be used for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. The Company plans on initiating Phase I/II clinical studies of AMZ0026 in the near future with the goal of attracting a joint venture partner with a major pharmaceutical company in Phase III trials or enter the FDA Fast Track program to reach the marketplace.
