Gemini Explorations, Inc. Announces Plans for More Extensive Sampling in New Mineralization Zone at La Tapata Gold Mine

Gemini Explorations, Inc. ("Gemini") (OTCBB: GXPI) announced today that during the month of September the company will be conducting an expanded sampling program in the new mineralization zone at its La Tapata Gold Mine. Gemini will be using this data to gain a more accurate determination of the potential extent and economic value of the ore body within that zone. In addition to gold, the ore will be tested for concentrations of silver, copper and lead. A large bulk sample will be shipped to DiaKhem Technologies LLC for process testing as part of the design stage of the processing facility.

DiaKhem Technologies LLC is a division of Diazem Corporation and Chemtura Corporation, which has been formed for the specific purpose of serving the needs of the mining industry. As noted in a Gemini news release dated 8/22/08, initial sampling showed that the new mineralization zone at La Tapata contains economic concentrations of gold, silver, copper and lead, all of which can be readily separated and captured through the use of the proprietary Diazem/DiaKhem process. Of particular value to Gemini is the fact that the formulation of the DiaKhem resin used in the separation and capture of the desired metals is customizable, for the achievement of maximum effectiveness, to the specific characteristics of the ore to be processed.
