easyhome Announces Take-Up of Insta-Rent Shares Deposited Under Its Offer and Commencement of Compulsory Acquisition

easyhome Ltd. (TSX: EH) ("easyhome") and Insta-Rent Inc. (TSX VENTURE: IRR) ("Insta-Rent") jointly announced today that shareholders holding an additional 1,224,510 Insta-Rent shares have accepted the offer dated August 20, 2008, as extended on September 25, 2008 (the "Offer") and tendered such shares pursuant to the Offer. easyhome has taken-up the additional shares deposited under the Offer at 9:00 a.m. (Toronto time) on October 7, 2008, the expiry time of the extended Offer. Under the Offer, easyhome shall pay Cdn$0.50 per Insta-Rent share within three business days. In the aggregate, shareholders holding 18,819,159 Insta-Rent shares, representing approximately 96% of the outstanding Insta-Rent shares on a fully-diluted basis, have accepted the Offer.
Since the Offer was accepted by shareholders holding more than 90% of the Insta-Rent shares, easyhome has exercised its right under the compulsory acquisition provisions of the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) to acquire all the outstanding Insta-Rent shares not already owned by easyhome at the same price of Cdn$0.50 per share.
