ITN Source Appoints Nan Halperin to Lead Education Clip Library

ITN Source, one of the world's leading providers of professional video content, today announced the appointment of Nan Halperin as Business Development Manager for the Education Clip Library (ECL). Ms. Halperin brings nearly 10 years of experience in education marketing, content sales and acquisition and will be responsible for driving growth opportunities for ECL. Launched in May, ECL is a worldwide educational video content service designed for education business users who benefit from incorporating video clips into their products, services and courses aimed at both the traditional and home learning markets.

ECL currently provides over 5,000 clips covering all core subjects for ages 3-19 for global educational publishers and broadcasters. Subjects include mathematics, world history, sciences, music, art, world geography, and language learning (French, German, Spanish and English), among others. The amount of content is expected to expand to 20,000 clips by 2009.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Halperin will manage existing US education customer relationships and expand ECL's customer base by leveraging her extensive background in education media. Prior to joining ITN Source, Ms. Halperin held sales and marketing positions with CNN's Turner Learning (now CNN Education) and bigchalk, the Education Network. She also worked as an independent representative with Learn360.com and Slim Goodbody Productions with previous work at premier children's home video companies, including Children's Television Workshop and Hanna-Barbera.
