MIT Enterprise Forum Presents "Pathways to Entrepreneurship"

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Club of Phoenix is hosting an informative panel discussion with influential Arizona female business leaders following the live telecast of "Pathways to Entrepreneurship" featuring national women panelists at EMTech08. Both panels will provide enlightening experiences and lessons in launching, funding and leading technology start-ups. The event takes place on Thursday, November 20 at ASU SkySong Conference Center. Registration is required.

The prestigious Arizona entrepreneur panelists include Susan Cordts, president and CEO of Adaptive Technologies, Inc. (ATi), Jeanne Hertz, founder and CEO of Cranial Technologies, Inc., and Michelle King Robson, founder and CEO of EmpowHer.com. Donna J. Kent, SVP of global sales, marketing and services at Televerde and former president and CEO of the Arizona Technology Council, will moderate.

"Our selected panelists will explore enlightening topics ranging from innovation, the Arizona technology industry, capital investments, growth strategies and challenges uniquely faced by female entrepreneurs," said Mark Wlodarczyk, president of the MIT Club of Phoenix. "We encourage all Arizonans interested in the topics of entrepreneurship to join us and learn from these prominent female leaders."

The networking session, which includes hors d'oeuvres, starts at 5:45 PM. The live EMTech08 telecast program will start at 6:45 PM and feature moderator Candida G. Brush, division chair in entrepreneurship, Babson College and panelists Robin Chase, founder of ZipCar, GoLoco.org and Meadow Networks, Priya Iyer, president of Anaqua, Christina Lampe-Onnerud, founder and CEO of Boston-Power and Susan Lindquist, professor of biology, MIT and scientific founder of FoldRx Pharma.
