KellyOCG Announces "Advanced RPO"
Market Wire, October, 2008
KellyOCG, the Outsourcing and Consulting Group of global business provider Kelly Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: KELYA) (NASDAQ: KELYB), today announced a joint initiative with IBM in the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) arena.
The Advanced RPO collaboration between KellyOCG and IBM is a unique global offering designed for multinational companies. Advanced RPO deploys a "centralized-decentralized" service delivery model for recruitment. Operations are centralized into Shared Service Centers whenever possible to allow cost-effective delivery while maintaining a high level of quality.
"The Advanced RPO Partnership is really a world first," said Candy Lewandowski, vice president of KellyOCG. "Our largest, most sophisticated customers are requesting a global integrated RPO solution: one that includes people, process transformation, technology and the global infrastructure to bring it together -- all at a competitive price.
"To date, no single provider has been able to offer a globally integrated, end-to-end solution for RPO," Lewandowski said. "In the past, solutions have been regional at best. That changes today. We are combining the relative strengths of two industry leaders to create a totally new offering."
"IBM's RPO practice provides hiring support to leading Fortune 500 companies through five global service delivery centers," said Dan White, global process leader, IBM Recruiting Services. "We have unparalleled RPO technology experience, process transformation consulting, a proven delivery model and a globally integrated delivery infrastructure to make service delivery scalable, predictable and measurable. Advanced RPO combines Kelly's leading RPO market presence, global office structure and thorough HR and candidate sourcing knowledge with IBM's unmatched global delivery scale, to establish a new benchmark for end-to-end RPO offerings."
