StillSecure Named to Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for Colorado
Market Wire, October, 2008
StillSecure®, provider of secure network infrastructure solutions, has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Colorado, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in Colorado by percentage growth over five years. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2003-2007. Also contributing to its recognition is the company's widespread recognition as a network security innovator.
"StillSecure has had tremendous success during the past five years because we've been focused on making complex network security solutions easier to implement and use, especially for the mid-market," said Alan Shimel, chief strategy officer of StillSecure. "We continue to grow rapidly by maintaining focus on innovation and providing the most effective security solutions designed to diminish risk in today's threat-laden landscape."
The company's increase in revenue from 2003 to 2007 resulted in a fourth place ranking in the Colorado Technology Fast 50. The average increase in revenue among companies that earned such recognition in Colorado was 507 percent.
"Sustaining high revenue growth over five years is an exceptional accomplishment," said Kurt Randall, Deloitte Tax LLP, and chair of the 2008 Colorado Technology Fast 50. "We commend StillSecure for making the commitment to technology and delivering on the promise of market longevity."
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and $5,000,000 in 2007, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
