Global Media Networks, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GLME) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, TicketBreak, has signed an exclusive agreement with the University of Toronto (commencing with Faculty of Physical & Health Education) to become the exclusive ticketing supplier for all of their Toronto venues, including the newly built Varsity Centre.
The University facilities currently include Varsity Centre, which include the newly built Varsity Stadium and Varsity Arena, The Athletics Centre which houses multiple volleyball, basketball and multi-use facilities including the indoor competition pool & diving centre. TicketBreak will be deploying a full ticketing solution including online and order-by-phone sales (using Credit or Debit payments), on-site POS Box Office solutions for all venues and electronic scanning redemption capabilities for each of the existing venues. Plans are also in the works to build a new Athletic Centre in the next 3-5 years.
