WebVisible Turns Seven, Places Number 35 in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for Orange County
Market Wire, October, 2008
For an Internet company celebrating seven years in business, there's no better way to mark the achievement than being named to Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for Orange County. Local online media expert, WebVisible, Inc., today announced that it has been ranked #35, based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2003-2007. The prestigious Fast 50 award is based on a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the area by Deloitte LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services organizations.
WebVisible founder and CEO, Kirsten Mangers, credits her company's Geneva(TM) software platform and scalable business model as the cornerstones of the company's success. "As an advocate for local businesses, we blend art and science to develop targeted online campaigns that quickly establish a formidable Internet presence among major search engine sites including Google, Yahoo!, MSN and Ask.com," said Mangers. "Over the past seven years, we have focused our efforts on developing the most robust platform of its kind in the online advertising industry. With this technology driving efficiency and effectiveness, we make online advertising easy for local businesses."
A high degree of scalability makes the company's business model extremely successful. "With a strong, worldwide partner base, we provide traditional media companies such as newspapers, yellow pages, and broadcast media organizations the ability to seamlessly offer our marketing services to their customers and local markets, so they can drive incremental top-line revenue and extend their client relationships," explains Mangers. As a result, WebVisible's client list is the strongest in the industry and its sustainable, differentiated solutions have generated more than $150 million in top-line revenue for its partners. And the company is poised for significant future growth with new partnerships in the US and abroad.
"To rank on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50, companies must have phenomenal revenue growth over five years," said Rob Lucenti, Managing Partner, Orange County Practice, Deloitte & Touche LLP. "WebVisible has proven to be one of the fast-growth success stories in Orange County, and we applaud their dedication to making their vision a reality."
This year's Orange County Technology Fast 50 program is sponsored by Cresa Partners, DLD Insurance Brokers, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, Union Bank of California, Publicease and Oracle, in association with the Technology Council of Southern California.
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and $5,000,000 in 2007, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
