Effective Control Transport Announces Signing of Letter of Intent With Shaw Tracking Concerning a Proposed Re-Sale Agreement of the CRAM Product in Canada

Effective Control Transport Corporation, a division of Effective Control Transport, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: EFFC) ( www.econtroltransport.com ), a software company which specializes in a product that monitors an operators vigilance and awareness (the "CRAM(TM)"), announced today that it has entered into a letter of intent with Shaw Tracking with respect to the negotiation of a proposed re-sale agreement / partnership in relation to the CRAM(TM). The agreement is anticipated to close before January 1, 2009.
Should the parties conclude the agreement, Shaw Tracking and Effective Control Transport Corporation would seek to integrate the CRAM(TM) with Shaw's suite of fleet management, compliance and security solutions.
