Market Wire, October, 2008
Hanley Wood Business Media won nine of Folio: Magazine's Eddie and Ozzie Awards, announced in Chicago at the Folio: Show held September 22, 2008. The Eddie Awards honor publications for editorial excellence, while the Ozzie Awards celebrate the best in magazine design.
Competing against more than 2,800 entries, four of Hanley Wood's award-winning magazines, BUILDER, REMODELING, BUILDING PRODUCTS and ARCHITECT took home three Gold, four Silver and two Bronze awards. A panel of more than 100 expert judges consisting of editors, publishers, creative directors and webmasters spent weeks evaluating the entries and selecting the winners.
"The Eddie and Ozzie awards exemplify the very best in magazine design and editorial excellence. It is an honor to be recognized for our work," says Peter Goldstone, President of Hanley Wood Business Media. "The talent and dedication our editorial staff brings to these publications year after year continues to make our magazines the one source construction professionals turn to for the most trusted industry news."
