Energy Systems Group Hires Keck as Director of Strategy and Business Development for Federal and Renewable Energy Projects
Market Wire, November, 2008
Energy Systems Group (ESG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Vectren Corporation, announced today that Christine H. Keck has joined their federal and renewable energy team as director of strategy and business development. Keck will lead strategic initiatives in partnering with local, state and federal government agencies to diversify and grow their renewable energy portfolios.
"As a leading renewable energy solutions provider, Energy Systems Group designs and develops innovative landfill, wind, biomass, solar, and agri-energy solutions throughout the United States," said Lawrence Roth, ESG vice president of federal and renewable projects. "ESG is excited to have Christine on board as a leading strategist on this front."
Keck has most recently served as senior vice president, southern region corporate lending executive for Evansville, Ind.-based Old National Bank (ONB). She began her career with ONB in 1996, as part of the bank's management training program and worked in a variety of capacities, primarily in the commercial and corporate lending groups.
"I am excited about joining the ESG and, ultimately, the Vectren teams -- companies whose leadership and excellence are, like Old National, well recognized and respected," said Keck. "I look forward to contributing to their continued success."
Keck, an Evansville native, attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada and graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. She has received several professional certifications including most recently the prestigious designation of "CRC," Credit Risk Certified, by the Risk Management Association, a national organization dedicated to the use of sound credit and lending practices in the financial services industry.
Keck continues to play a very active role in local and state activities, currently serving as the president of the board of directors for the Evansville Country Club, as a commissioner for the City of Evansville's Historic Preservation Commission and as a director for the Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana.
