Quebecor Media Announces Appointment of Isabelle Dessureault as Vice President, Public Affairs

Pierre Karl Peladeau, President and Chief Executive Officer of Quebecor Inc., announced today the appointment of Isabelle Dessureault to the position of Vice President, Public Affairs, Quebecor Media Inc. Ms. Dessureault will be responsible for internal and external communications, institutional and regulatory affairs, and Quebecor Media's brand image. She will also act as spokesperson for the Company.

Isabelle is a graduate of the Amsterdam School of Business and Universite du Quebec a Montreal, and holds an MBA from Concordia University. In 2005, after working a dozen years as a consultant, including eight years with NATIONAL Public Relations, where she was a partner in the Montreal office. Isabelle joined Videotron as General Manager, Communications. In 2006, she was appointed to the new position of Vice President with combined responsibility for Videotron Corporate Affairs and the VOX television channel. Over the next two years, Isabelle steered VOX through a major shift in direction and repositioning. Under her leadership, VOX grew its total audience by 7% and completed its migration to High Definition.
Isabelle quickly made her mark at Videotron by successfully overseeing the introduction of the company's cable telephone service. As Vice President, she also launched many internal communications initiatives designed to position Videotron as an employer of choice.
Pierre Karl Peladeau is also pleased to announce the appointment of J. Serge Sasseville to the position of Vice President, Corporate and Institutional Affairs, of Quebecor Media Inc. After serving as President, Music Division of Archambault Group for over a year, Serge returned to the Quebecor Media head office in October 2007 as Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Entertainment and Multimedia of Quebecor Media. He will assume responsibility for Quebecor Media's Regulatory Affairs Department and Institutional Affairs Department, in addition to his current duties. Serge will report to Isabelle Dessureault.
