Finisar Receives Huawei Golden Core Partner Award

Finisar Corporation (NASDAQ: FNSR) today announced that it has received the prestigious Golden Core Partner award from Huawei, one of the world's leading providers of telecommunications network solutions. At an award ceremony at Huawei's corporate headquarters in Shenzhen, China, Finisar was honored for its innovative technology, high-quality, and on-time delivery of its optical components for high-speed communications. Finisar Executive Chairman Jerry Rawls and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Todd Swanson, attended the event.

Of the more than one thousand suppliers that Huawei works with each year, Finisar was one of only 18 companies to receive the Golden Core Partner Award. The award is bestowed upon companies that consistently deliver high performance and quality products that meet Huawei's highly specialized needs.

Finisar supplies a wide range of optical components to Huawei that are included in its telecommunications networking equipment. These optical components include passive devices, transceivers, and transponders. This is the third supplier award Finisar has received from Huawei.
