Kerio Announces Mirek Kren as Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Kerio Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of award-winning Internet security and messaging solutions, today announced that Mirek Kren has been appointed Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Kren will be responsible for the company's global channel strategy, revenue growth, and market leadership. He leads several channel sales teams in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America supporting a widespread partner network delivering security and mobile email groupware to small and medium-sized businesses. He recently relocated from the Czech Republic, and is based in San Jose, California at Kerio's headquarters.

With more than ten years of technical sales and business development experience, Mr. Kren's leadership has resulted in multiplying Kerio's global revenues and exceeding growth targets. Most recently, he was the sales director for Central and Eastern European regions managing the company's sales, operations, and partner recruitment, creating an extensive channel network for Kerio WinRoute Firewall and Kerio MailServer. He was instrumental in developing Kerio's leadership position in the Russian market and delivering triple-digit sales growth. Mr. Kren joined the company in 2003.
Prior to joining Kerio, he was in charge of a business unit for LOPO, spol. s.r.o, where he managed sales and business development for the IT related line of business.
