Signature Devices 2008-2009 Overview and Strategy
Market Wire, January, 2009
Signature Devices, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SDVI) ( www.signaturedevices.com ) and its subsidiary Graffiti Entertainment, Inc. ( www.GraffitiEntertainment.com ) are announcing overview and strategy for 2008 and 2009.
For 2008 Graffiti Entertainment, Inc. shipped Mazes of Fate DS. Due to economic conditions and other factors, the initial ship quantity was better than our lowest conservative estimates, but did not reach our moderate estimate goals.
Graffiti Entertainment plans on shipping C.O.R.E., Air Conflicts: Aces of World War II, and Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled in the 1st quarter of 2009. Graffiti Entertainment also plans on shipping Jakers! Let's Explore for PC and Wii(TM) and two Moomin titles for Nintendo DS(TM). Graffiti also has several other titles in development for various platforms that should ship in the 4th quarter of 2009.
"2008 turned out to be a very hard year for us, with the economic downturn, but we forged ahead and were able to complete three more games," stated Kenneth Hurley, CEO of Signature Devices, Inc. and Graffiti Entertainment, Inc. "We would like to have shipped them for the 2008 Christmas season, but several factors prevented us from doing so. With the amount of games that were being shipped for 2008 and the cutback in orders by retailers for smaller publishers, it made sense for us to ship these in the 1st quarter of 2009. I think gamers will be pleased with the quality of the games. We've taken a great deal of care to make these upcoming games a fantastic and fun experience."
