Discussions on a Combination of Crucell and Wyeth Discontinued

Dutch biopharmaceutical company Crucell N.V. (Euronext, NASDAQ: CRXL; Swiss Exchange: CRX) today announced that Wyeth has withdrawn from discussions regarding a potential combination of the two companies.
This statement is an announcement as referred to in Section 5:59 paragraph 1 of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht).
