Gemcom Names Allen D. Vaughn Executive Vice President of Enterprise Business Unit

Gemcom Software International Inc. , the largest global supplier of specialised mining productivity solutions , today announced that Allen D. Vaughn has joined the Company as executive vice president of its enterprise business unit. Mr. Vaughn, who comes to Gemcom from global ERP solutions provider Mincom, has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience with enterprise software companies. In his new role with Gemcom, Mr. Vaughn will be responsible for guiding business development and the strategic direction of its enterprise solutions business, which includes the Company's Gemcom InSite(TM) mine performance management system.

Mr. Vaughn is an accomplished senior executive who has established a successful career directing major operational groups, and sales and marketing organisations. His experience at Mincom includes serving as the head of worldwide operations, as its mining industry vertical leader, and as the general manager of its fastest growing geographic region. Over the last ten years, Mr. Vaughn has had significant experience working with the mining industry and has been involved in ERP solutions and enterprise software for most of his career. Prior to joining Mincom, Mr. Vaughn held senior positions with Indus International, including vice president international operations. During his career he has also held senior positions with Dun & Bradstreet.
