Toromont Announces Quarterly Dividend

Toromont Industries Ltd. (TSX: TIH) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a 7% increase in Toromont's regular quarterly cash dividend, representing the twentieth consecutive annual increase.
A quarterly dividend at the new rate of 15 cents (Cdn) per share, payable April 1, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 13, 2009, was declared today by the Company's Board of Directors.
Toromont Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Robert M. Ogilvie said: "This continues forty-one consecutive years of dividend payments, reflecting underlying growth, the strength of our earnings and confidence in our business."
