APII to Provide a Complete Outsourced Solution to Toy Industry
Market Wire, February, 2009
Action Products International, Inc. (NASDAQ: APII) will begin to offer turn-key supply chain management, product fulfillment, and marketing and sales solutions for the toy industry. The newly launched service will help to create an efficient and cost-effective way to manage cost for the hundreds of smaller toy companies worldwide.
APII will look to offer a full line of fee-based services that will include product development, product sourcing, marketing, ideation, warehousing and logistics. APII can provide a complete one-stop shop outsourced turn-key operation from marketing to warehousing.
Neil Swartz, CEO of APII, commented, "During these challenging times all companies need to find a way to control the increased costs of business. This will be good for our outsource partners by allowing us to assist in bringing products to market that might never have seen the light of day. This is also good for our shareholders because it will allow us to amortize our fixed costs over more products without having to put up the monies to develop them."
With over 30 years of experience in the toy industry, a sophisticated 35,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Ocala, Florida, an international sourcing team in China, a product development and marketing team, and an experienced toy industry management team all based out of Orlando, Florida, this new service can provide any start-up or existing toy company with a solid infrastructure to build a business and control cost. APII will be meeting with interested companies at the upcoming Toy Fair in NYC and is currently planning discussions for the weeks to come.
