Exigen Services Ranked #1 for Software Testing and Quality Assurance Services in Outsourcing by The Brown-Wilson Group
Market Wire, March, 2009
Exigen® Services, the leading next-generation application outsourcing provider, has been named the top-rated software testing and quality assurance services vendor by The Brown-Wilson Group in their 2008 "Black Book of Outsourcing" rankings.
The Software Testing and QA Black Book rankings, compiled annually by The Brown-Wilson Group and Black Book Research, surveyed more than 2600 global outsourcing services users to rank a total of 159 testing services suppliers for the 2008 rankings. These 2600 individuals were responsible for more than 900 global contracts at the top-spending banking organizations worldwide. Only end users of outsourcing services were surveyed, making The Black Book rankings unrivaled in objectivity and credibility.
Users at these organizations were asked to rank their satisfaction with software testing and QA services they had purchased from their vendors according to 18 key performance indicators. From these surveys, Exigen Services emerged as a clear leader in the space, achieving the top score in more than 40 percent of the surveyed categories.
"Successful application development outsourcing is tied to quality assurance processes -- this is clear from our 2008 Black Book survey of software testing and QA services," says Doug Brown, co-author, "The Black Book of Outsourcing" and Partner, Brown-Wilson Group. "With the industry expecting to top $14 billion in 2009, those outsourcing providers that are able to integrate these processes from beginning to end of the development lifecycle are clearly a leg ahead of those that can not. As our customer satisfaction portion of the survey highlights, the market expects providers to take this approach."
"Exigen Services believes that IT outsourcing should mitigate the risks clients are often exposed to from large-scale IT initiatives, and that outsourcing only succeeds when applications are delivered on time having been fully reviewed and fully tested," said Alex Adamopoulos, COO, Exigen Services. "To that end, we integrate quality assurance and testing methods deeply into every phase of our development and project management process. This top ranking in the 2008 Brown-Wilson Group 'Black Book of Outsourcing' affirms that customers place a high value on our approach and commitment to effective software testing."
Exigen Services combines innovative methodologies, unique business terms and deep development and project management expertise to create and deliver applications that meet the business needs of IT organizations and client companies. Exigen Services' industry-leading approach to outsourcing reduces project and delivery risks and improves alignment with clients' goals to meet changing business requirements.
