Shareholder Withdraws Requisition of Meeting of Shareholders of Jaguar Financial

William Iannaci, the holder of greater than 5% of the outstanding shares of Jaguar Financial Corporation ("Jaguar") (TSX: JFC) provided an update on his previously announced requisition for a shareholders meeting of Jaguar for the purpose of replacing Jaguar's board of directors.
Mr. Iannaci today announced that he has withdrawn his requisition.
The meeting remains currently scheduled to be held on Thursday April 9, 2009.
