Award: Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show 2009 Honors New Products

The 11th annual Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show honored its Best New Product Winners at the Grand Opening Breakfast at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis on March 13. An awards committee of 18 industry judges picked the seven winning products:

Best Hot Rod/ Street Rod Product: Under $500: Nordskog Instruments for the GPS Pulse Generator, which converts GPS satellite signals to pulse outputs used by most aftermarket electronic speedometers.

Best Hot Rod/ Street Rod Product: $500 & Up: FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technology) for the EZ-EFI Self Tuning Injection System, a complete self-tuning system that tunes as you drive.

Best Restoration Product: Under $500: Brew City Engineering for the RediRad, which bridges the technology gap between collector car or truck radios and modern music player formats.

Best Restoration Product: $500 & Up: Miller Electric Mfg. Co. for the Millermatic 211 AutoSet with MVP, a user-friendly AC/DC TIG welder with a more consistent welding arc.

Best Muscle Car Product: Under $500: Stainless Steel Brakes Corp. for the "Comp" Series Aluminum Calipers, which are designed for direct bolt-in replacement. They can be used on competition applications.

Best Muscle Car Product: $500 & Up: Flaming River Industries for the Touch Start Keyless Ignition System Tilt Column, which allows a driver to start a vehicle with the touch of a button.

Best Merchandising Display HushMat for the Countertop Demo Display, which demonstrates the difference HushMat damping material makes through two cymbals on the display.
