ISI Telemanagement Solutions Announces Release of Infortel(R) Select Version 8.0 -- Significant Advances for Unified Communications Users
Market Wire, March, 2009
ISI Telemanagement Solutions, Inc., a leading global provider of comprehensive cost management solutions for voice, data, wireless and unified communications, today announced the release of Version 8.0 of their award-winning InfortelĀ® Select telecom analytics and reporting product. This latest release brings a number of significant enhancements to the product, especially for Unified Communications and MPLS Network users. Notable new features include Tandem Call Matching and Carrier Call Matching.
"Tandem Call Matching is an important feature for users of MPLS and Unified Communications Networks and assists with Telecom Invoice Management ," said Laura Dritt, Director of Product Management for ISI. Ms. Dritt continued, "Tandem Call Matching assists customers who wish to track calls that originate in one PBX, traverse a network cloud, and then exit another PBX to the PSTN. It matches multiple call legs and creates a single call record, eliminating the possibility of duplicate costing. With Tandem Call Matching, users of advanced communications networks can now accurately demonstrate savings versus traditional phone networks."
InfortelĀ® Select Version 8.0 also offers Carrier Call Matching which enables customers to compare their telephone invoices to actual call records coming from their PBX. This provides a quick verification of the accuracy of the invoice and speeds dispute resolution. "During these difficult economic times when businesses are trying to save money anywhere they can, Carrier Call Matching provides an opportunity for customers to spot potential billing errors quickly, resolve them, and save money on their telecom spend," said Irwin Friedman, Chairman and CEO of ISI.
Additional improvements found in Version 8.0 include new reports identifying international Mobile Terminations, new filters on Business Intelligence reports for Abandoned Calls and Ring Times, a new CDR format to support Cisco's Unified Communications Manager Express, support for Cisco's MeetingPlace 5.4 and support for SQL 2008. The product is offered as an on-site solution or as Software-as-a-Service through ISI's Telecom Outsourcing Services.
