One of Nation's Largest Self-Storage Companies Increases Online Revenue and Reservations With Omniture Online Marketing Suite

Omniture, Inc . (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software , today announced that Extra Space Storage, Inc. has achieved a 26 percent increase in online incremental revenue and a 13 percent increase in online reservations using the Omniture Online Marketing Suite .
With nearly 700 facilities nationwide, Extra Space Storage is the second largest owner and/or operator of self-storage properties in the U.S. The company has focused heavily on online measurement and optimization since its Web site redesign several years ago and was looking for a market-leading solution that would help further optimize its marketing efforts. Specifically, the Extra Space Storage team required the ability to run tests and optimize its online reservation form for storage units quickly and efficiently.
Extra Space Storage selected Omniture's Online Marketing Suite, specifically utilizing Omniture SiteCatalyst for collecting actionable, real-time online analytics data; Omniture Test&Target to run tests on its online reservation form and other key areas of the site; and Omniture Discover for visitor segmentation. After testing several versions of its online storage reservation form against a control with Test&Target, the team identified the best-performing version. The winner was a more condensed version of its original form, which boosted online reservation orders by 13 percent and increased online incremental revenue by 26 percent.
