Nexen to Webcast Investor Day

Nexen Inc. will hold its 2009 Investor Day on Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Nexen senior management will provide an update on our strategy and operations in each of our key regions including Long Lake, Horn River, the North Sea, Offshore West Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, and other international areas.
To accommodate a wider audience, all presentations will be webcast. Links to the audio webcast and presentation slides will be available on June 18th at www.nexeninc.com .
Presentations will begin at 7:35 am Mountain Time (9:35 am Eastern Time). A detailed schedule of presentations will be available on our website on June 17th.
