Cheil USA Taps Heidi Arkinstall as Engagement Director for Samsung Electronics America Business

Cheil USA Inc. , the North American Regional Headquarters of Cheil Worldwide, today announced the appointment of Heidi Arkinstall as Engagement Director for the Samsung Consumer Electronics and IT divisions. In that position, she will report to Jennifer Friedberg, General Manager of Cheil USA.

Arkinstall is a former Senior Partner at Ogilvy New York, where she led the planning and development of global strategy and creative work and US execution of multi-discipline campaigns for IBM Mid-Market & Channel. During her 12 years at Ogilvy, she was also a key driver on several other key IBM assignments in the US, Asia-Pacific and Australia/New Zealand. Arkinstall began her career at Mirvac Hotel Group and Wunderman, both in Australia.

Arkinstall, a native of Australia, is the latest in a series of senior-level hires by Cheil USA. She joins Timothy Bruns, Executive Creative Director, and Arun Bordoloi, Executive Strategy Director, who were brought on in first quarter 2009, and Brent Shedd, who joined as General Manager of Cheil USA's Dallas office this June. Friedberg added, "Cheil USA is continuing to expand the team as we spearhead Cheil Worldwide's expansion strategy in this important market."
