The Consumers' Waterheater Income Fund Announces Appointment of Tom Cooper as Vice President, Sales & Marketing

The Consumers' Waterheater Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX: CWI.UN) today announced the appointment of Tom Cooper as Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Mr. Cooper will lead the sales and marketing activities of both the rentals business, including water heaters and HVAC equipment, and the "smart" sub-metering business.
"We are very pleased to welcome Tom to our team. We feel that he will be instrumental in leading our efforts to grow our current businesses and strengthen our customer base," said John Macdonald, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Cooper has over 25 years of experience in the HVAC and energy services industry, having held senior operating positions at Direct Energy Marketing Limited, Enbridge Services Inc. and The Consumers' Gas Company Ltd. For the last three years he has run a consulting practice focused on business improvement strategies.

The Fund owns a portfolio of approximately 1.4 million installed water heaters and other assets, rented primarily to residential customers in Ontario. The Fund also owns Stratacon Inc., a leading "smart" sub-metering company, with metering contracts for condominium and apartment suites in Alberta, Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.
