ClickBee(TM) Marks Launch With "See The Bee" Campaign
Market Wire, June, 2009
ClickBee.net has officially launched its shopping site, boasting over 2,000 leading retailers. In support of the launch, they announced today a nationwide campaign to drive membership, "See The Bee, Join For Free." The campaign will feature their Bee Mascot who will make unannounced appearances in major metro areas. When people see the bee, they can signup for a yearlong membership at no cost, and the one-time set-up fee of $15 will be waived as well, for a total savings of $25. The campaign will begin this summer in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, with plans to take it to major metro areas across the U.S. in the fall, just in time for the Holidays.
ClickBee is the brainchild of Andrew Bojanic and Liz Hooper, a young couple who just had their first child, inspiring them to find a way to save money and get the items they need in a quick and convenient manner. After trying several of the existing sites and finding their set-up and annual fees to be unaffordable, or their shopping and payment options limiting, Bojanic and Hooper teamed up with two friends and began building ClickBee.
"Clickbee.net really is born out of necessity," commented Bojanic. "When we shared the idea with our friends, we soon saw that all of us began to buy everything we needed through the site, and started getting cash back on our purchases each month, we knew we were on to something."
The company is also donating 5% of all ClickBee profits to four environmentally focused charities, one each in the East, Mid-West, West and South, through its green division, ClickBeeGreen which is scheduled for its official launch in October.
"See The Bee, Join For Free" will officially kick off around July 4 weekend, although the Bee may make some appearances before then. Clickbee.net has over 2,000 major retailer-members and offers some of the best cash-back percentages available through Internet shopping mall sites. Each ClickBee member has their own personal cash back account, and checks are issued to members quarterly. To learn more about ClickBee or to join now, please visit www.clickbee.net .
