"Fight With Elegance" Benefit Concert for Breast Cancer Awareness on July 11th, 2009

Elegantly Funky, a clothing boutique and 4th Street Brewing Company have teamed up to host an evening of entertainment raising funds for "Fight With Elegance."
The fund-raiser will be Saturday, July 11th at 4th Street Brewing, 77 NE 4th Street. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and the music begins at 5:00 p.m. Featured artist Linda Hornbuckle, soul diva of the Northwest is scheduled to begin playing at 8:00 p.m. Ruby Hill will kick off the evening with their relaxed rock, old school soul and blues rhythms. The outdoor concert will be held in 4th Street Brewing's beer and wine garden created especially for the occasion.
"We feel there is a tremendous need to provide these funds to our own community -- many people no longer have health insurance or the funds available to receive mammograms," states Dina Parmenter, co-founder, along with husband Kerry of Fight With Elegance and owners of Elegantly Funky.
Proceeds from the event will be used to provide payment vouchers for mammograms to local women and men who cannot afford them on their own. Mammograms are critical for the early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Fight With Elegance has teamed up with Snow Cap Community Charities and a local imaging company to provide this much needed service.
4th Street Brewing is located at 77 NE 4th Street, Gresham, OR. The fund-raiser is from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. The concert will be held outdoors and will feature a beer and wine garden.
Tickets are $10 pre-sale or $12 the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at Elegantly Funky located at 101 North Main Ave, Gresham, OR or (cash only) at 4th Street Brewing Company.
