Fonicatec Powers Plug-and-Play IP-PBX Appliances With Sangoma Telephony Cards
Market Wire, June, 2009
Sangoma® Technologies Corporation (TSX VENTURE: STC) and Fonicatec today announced that Sangoma's premium voice cards now power all telephony interfaces for Foncordiax PBX appliances.
Fonicatec, a leading provider of global communications services, and an Empowered by Sangoma partner, is now shipping its Foncordiax product line in response to overwhelming market demand for cost effective, reliable PBX appliances for easy-to-deploy enterprise communications. Foncordiax systems are plug-and-play units, with Sangoma cards pre-installed and configured.
"Sangoma cards are among the most reliable and robust in the market. We have had very few issues with installation and their technical support is second to none," said Joe Roper, Fonicatec's CTO. "We are very happy to be partnering with such a strong, likeable company."
By joining the Sangoma partner program, Fonicatec not only boosts its product line, but gains access to a suite of services, including joint marketing and a worldwide community of business partners.
"We selected Sangoma based on the quality and the international features of its products, but also because Sangoma knows how to work with application partners, providing great support from both a business and technical perspective," said Fonicatec CEO Mark Trowbridge.
"We understand that great products are only the beginning of a successful business partnership," said Sangoma's Forest. "When application vendors select Sangoma, they inherit great products, but also comprehensive support, as well as access to a fabulous ecosystem of technology partners, distributors and resellers."
Sangoma's Serge Forest, Vice President of Marketing, finds the Foncordiax all-in-one PBX appliances impressive, and expects the Fonicatec team to be highly successful with this product line.
VoIPon Solutions , a long-time Sangoma distributor and business partner based in the United Kingdom, has already started offering the Foncordiax product line to their resellers in Europe.
"We are very excited about adding the Foncordiax brand to our range," said Alexis Argent, VoIPon CEO. "VoIPon's staff has extensive knowledge and understanding of all technologies involved, including Sangoma's telephony cards, so we can provide local expertise and support to our reseller base."
