This wonderful songbook is sure to please students and teachers alike because the songs are melodious and easy to learn, either a cappella or with the written piano accompaniment. Many of the songs are familiar to children; pieces from several cultures are included. The accompanying CD has 56 of the songs from the book as recorded by the 7th- to 9th-grade girls of Spring Valley School. The illustrations are full of childlike laughter. Opportunities abound for using these songs in dramatizations, dances, and artistic creations. Ages 6 up.-C.S.
