BATH TIME
Childhood Education, Winter 2004/2005 by Killoran, Isabel
Spinelli, Eileen BATH TIME. Il. by Janet Pederson. ISBN 0-7614-5117-X. Tarrytown, NY: Cavendish Children's Books, 2003. 32 pp. $14.95. This is a delightful rhyme describing the bath time ritual many children experience. The illustrations capture the fun young children have with the bathing adventure so well, you almost wish you could return to those times. The text is well-situated and is in a larger font than typical, which may benefit children who are visually impaired. Some vocabulary may be new to children who have not been exposed to large bodies of water, beaches, or water wildlife. Ages 3-6. Reviewed by Isabel Killoran, York University, Toronto, ON
