This is a compelling story of Bobbie Rosenfeld, who grew up in Barrie, Ontario, during the early 1900s. Dublin takes the reader through Bobbie's journey to the 1928 Olympics, where she competes for the Canadian track and field team. The historic narratives relate Bobbie's influence in sports until her retirement from the Globe and Mail as a sportswriter, in 1957.
