Royal & SunAlliance launches auto dealers program

The Specialty Programs Business Unit of Royal & Sun introduced a program for automobile and truck dealers. Called Franchised Auto Dealers, the program can cover operations from single dealership locations to large multi-location businesses.

United Dealer Services, LLC, of Fort Lee, New Jersey, is managing general agency for the program, which will be available in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Florida by the end of 2001.

Available coverages are garage and garagekeepers legal liability, general liability, property, equipment breakdown, crime, and inland marine. Qualifying accounts also may purchase employment practices liability and pollution coverage. All coverages are written on an admitted basis through one of the A.M. Best A rated subsidiaries of Royal & SunAlliance USA.
