Arch has new D&O products
Arch Insurance Group introduced three Side-A policy forms that provide specialized directors and officers coverage. The policy forms have separate limits of liability to cover an individual board member's personal assets if an organization's primary D&O coverage runs out.

CIS launches program for specialty contractors
Construction Insurance Solutions (CIS), a program administrator, introduced a liability program for specialty trade contractors involved in commercial and residential construction. Eligible classes are air conditioning, concrete, electrical, excavators and land graders, fence, fire sprinkler, garage door, ground water drilling, heating and plumbing, landscapers, mechanical, nurserymen and landscapers, roofing, sheet metal, street and road, swimming pool and spas, system builders (prefabricated buildings), and underground utilities. The program offers general liability occurrence form coverage with blanket additional insured, blanket waiver of subrogation, and per-project aggregate coverages.
The general liability coverage has a minimum $2,500 property damage deductible. Commercial umbrella coverage is written on a following form basis. Primary limits are $1 million/$2 million for products/completed operations and annual aggregates. Minimum premium is $5,000. Commercial umbrella limits are available up to $25 million. Coverage is written through an A XV rated carrier and is available in all states; some coverage restrictions and limitations may apply in some states.

Philadelphia Insurance covers amateur sports facilities
Philadelphia Insurance Companies announced the introduction of its Amateur Sports Facilities Program, which provides coverage for arenas and stadiums where amateur and youth sport leagues or teams lease space for practice and games. Arenas are indoor facilities that will support basketball, Volleyball, indoor soccer, indoor lacrosse, and racquet sports. Stadiums are outdoor facilities, including practice fields, where football, baseball, soccer, and lacrosse are played.
General liability limits are available up to $1 million, and umbrella liability limits are available up to $10 million. The company's in-house property capacity allows it to write virtually any amateur sports facility that meets its underwriting standards.
