SHARE TIPS TO CELEBRATE DIVERSITY
NEA Today, Mar 2005
As part of NEA's new Web site, nea.org has launched an electronic bulletin board where educators can share their ideas and successes for teaching diversity. The board will help educators around the country exchange ways to celebrate National Multicultural Diversity Day (celebrated on the third Monday in October) and to promote and teach diversity issues throughout the year.
To access the board, registered NEA members can go to www.nea.org, click on the "Members & Educators" section, select "NEA Voices" and then "Discussion Boards." The board is titled "National Directory of Successful Multicultural Diversity Day Programs.
