DII series, three-axis column type surface grinders are available with 20 x 40" (508 x 1016 mm), 20 x 60" (508 x 1524 mm), 24 x 40" (610 x 1016 mm), 24 x 60" (610 x 1524 mm), and 24 x 80" (610 x 2032 mm) chuck sizes.

Spindle power ranges from 7.5 hp (5.6 kW) for the 2040ADII, 10 hp (7.5 kW) for the 2060ADII, and 15 hp (11.2 kW) for the 2440/2460/ 2480ADII models. The microprocessor-controlled machines can be programmed to perform rough grinding, fine grinding, and sparkout passes.

Table speed is 16-80 fpm (4.9-24.4 m/min), while the wheelhead vertical infeed travel is 15.7 ipm (400 mm/min). After each grinding cycle, the table can be set to park at either left end or right end while the wheel head can be set to lift up to end point, start point, or reference point.
