aker Chemical Corp, (Conshohocken, PA) is creating a new, global tube and pipe business unit. The company plans to become a "front-to-back" supplier of products and services. This includes Quaker's acquisition of the Italian supplier Eural. Quaker is developing a range of coating products to meet the needs of customers including producers of tubular goods for the oil and gas industries, construction markets, and structural products.
