Reggae Ambassadors: 20th Anniversary Collection
Mercury
Together for more than 20 years, Third World is perhaps reggae's best known band after Bob Marley's crew. In celebration of the group's longevity, Mercury releases this anniversary collection of their best music. Combining American R&B with African music and Jamaican folk styles. Third World became one of reggae's most popular bands. Though the group's fusion style muddles the purity of its reggae sound, none can claim the group sold out. Today, the group endures with a 31-track, two-CD-boxed treasure.
