Anyone with dirty clothes, a dirty car or a dirty dog might be looking forward to a new business opening in Bangor, Wis.

Classic Wash, which includes a coin-operated laundry, car wash and self-serve dog wash is expected to open by November, owner Jeff Blakeman said.

The 24-hour facility is on Commercial Street next to Hansen's IGA.

Blakeman, who owns the business with his wife, Julie, said they decided to open the business because Bangor lacks anything like it. "This is something kind of new and exciting and something the residents of Bangor need," he said.

The Blakemans originally intended to open only a car wash, but when they discovered they had room for additional facilities, they decided to add the laundry operation and two self-serve dog wash bays.

The dog-wash bays will offer eight different shampoo and conditioner selections and include a blow dryer. Cost will be $2 for four minutes of use.

"It's kind of a problem washing our own dog at home, and it's something we'd like to use ourselves," Blakeman said.

The business will have two self-serve car wash bays and one automatic bay. It will include a car vacuum and car care vending products.

The 1,400-square-foot coinoperated laundry will include 18 washers and 16 driers. It will have a classic theme and include a 1957 jukebox.
