PALM DESERT -- Palmira Courtyard Estates, a new home development in Palm Desert by Desert Resort Communities, Inc., recently held its grand opening.
Palmira Courtyard Estates is a gated community of 69 homes. "The homes are priced from the low $200,000s. Four floor plans are available with living space up to 3,400 square feet. The architecture features a blend of Early California and contemporary styling. Each plan has a courtyard entry. Front, side and back yards are surrounded by block walls: The site plan includes three cul-de-sac areas.
Interior amenities are numerous. Three floor plans feature family entertainment rooms with a wood-burning fireplace and media niche. Wet bars are included in two plans. Each home has two full baths plus powder room. The master baths have Corian counter tops and his-and-her sinks, oval tub and separate shower with seating. Plan three has a walk-in stall shower and plan four has a his-and-hers dual shower.
The kitchens have food preparation islands (most plans), ceramic tile counter tops. modular cabinetry with adjustable shelves, pantry and nook. Appliances include a five-burner cooktop, built-in double oven and microwave oven. Palmira Courtyard Estates is located on Deep Canyon Road at Fred Waring Drive.
