Mother Goose, computer style

Teaching Pre K-8, Nov 1994 by Allen, Denise

Mother Goose, computer-style. Young children often arrive at school unfamiliar with the classic Mother Goose rhymes. To supplement the traditional book versions, Creative Pursuits has created Kid Rhymes to help introduce the popular nursery rhyme characters.

Designed to support Kid Works 2 from Davidson and Kid Pix from Broderbund, Kid Rhymes offers a plethora of nursery rhyme picture selections that can be imported. Students will enhance their creativity as they link dots, paint in the electronic coloring book, find missing objects in pictures, create twin pictures, complete mazes and customize familiar rhymes. Young children will delight in seeing Little Miss Muffet, Little Boy Blue and many others on the screen.

Kid Rhymes from Creative Pursuits and distributed by Davidson & Associates, Inc. is available for MS-DOS and Macintosh formats. Age level: Preschool to grade 2.

Macintosh requirements: Davidson's Kid Works or Kid Pix by Broderbund and color monitor.

MS-DOS requirements: Davidson's Kid Works 2 or Kid Pix by Broderbund and color monitor.
