Molly and Bannaky eventually wed, even though there was a ban against interracial marriage. They prosper, and Molly lives to teach her grandson - Benjamin Bannaker - to read and write. The art by Chris Soentpiet weaves a spell. Not only kids will love this one. (32 pages, 10 x 13 1/2, $16)
