Explore the history of New York and learn more about your own town with this citizenship project. Learning Adventures follows NY history from 1609 to the present, based on New York. A Documentary Film Online from PBS and Thirteen WHET.
The Things to Do in Your Town activities begin in New York and then guide students with a parallel activity for their town: they learn about Central Park and then plan for a park in their town. There are six online projects. Choose one for your class, then go to Kids Lab to submit class projects for your town.
