Science attitudes of selected middle school students in China: A preliminary investigation of similarities and differences as a function of gender
School Science and Mathematics, Feb 1997 by Boone, William J
China is a vast country that is rapidly changing. One of the most pressing issues is to increase the supply of scientists. This study provides one of the most recent views of girls' and boys' attitudes toward a range of science issues. Apparently girls do differ in their responses from boys on a number of issues. But perhaps more interesting is girls' selection of response categories that are more proscience than the boys.
