When I started Prime Construction in 1991, we did anything, from new homes, remodeling, additions, light commercial, etc. In 1995, after much soul. searching and investigation, I opted to become a remodeling contractor. This area was ready for a professional remodeling firm. Although we have specialized strictly in remodeling, I saw the need to be diversified in that market share. I launched a Handyman division in 1999 and in 2000 purchased a DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen franchise. In 2001, I hired my first design professional, Mr. Cliff Deetjen, and began selling design/build services.

Simply put, I owe my success to being diversified in a niche market, being able to delegate and forming strategic alliances with other remodelers and trades people. Also, I always hire people smarter than myself.
