Sweet treats
Southern Living, Feb 2003 by Frazer, Judy
Create your own scrumptious confections with these irresistibly easy recipes.
Cupid's arrow found the heart of Jan Moon, formerly of our Test Kitchens, when she shared these darling desserts with our staff. The idea came from Editor John Floyd as he strolled through Charleston, South Carolina, last year and noticed the displays at Charleston Chocolates. He suggested we make our own sweets and package them in candy boxes.
These goodies are created from items you have on hand-refrigerated piecrusts, crisp rice cereal, marshmallows, jam, and more. Try them yourself, and you'll find that enticing your sweetie has never been so easy.
