Bachman Machine Company, St. Louis, Missouri, has recently acquired additional CNC equipment for its tooling department.
The 74-year-old company, which offers tool & die work, metal stamping and precision machining, added two OKK PCV 55 vertical mills (20" x 40" x 20.5") and a Mori-Seiki MV-80 vertical mill (30" x 60" x 30").
This equipment has been added to Bachman's extensive range of equipment in its tooling department which includes: three CNC mills, three EDM die sinking machines; four EDM wire machines; conventional milling and turning machines and various pieces of grinding, boring, drilling and sawing equipment.
"This equipment will help us reduce lead times and improve our efficiency to better serve our customers," noted Bill Bachman, Jr. Bachman noted the company's commitment to quality. "We stand behind what we do, and we receive lots of comments from customers about how well we perform."
The company is ISO 9002, QS 9000 and TE 9000 certified.
The stamping operation has presses ranging from 60 to 1000 tons.
The precision machining department has 14 pieces of CNC milling/turning equipment.
Bachman serves several industries including construction, automotive, appliances, and general industry.
