Lista storage workspace solutions are ideally suited to address the problems specific to the U.S. Army. From military bases to aerospace installations to security training facilities, Lista workspace systems are a key component in keeping military organizations operating at maximum efficiency. With its comprehensive range of workspace solutions and its modular building block approach, Lista can completely and specifically address the unique needs of military operations, whether they require high density modular drawer storage cabinets, productivity enhancing workbenches, or the flexible configurability of the Storage Wall system.
In military applications, secure, organized and efficient storage is of the utmost importance. That is why so many military organizations turn to Lista's squadron of modular drawer storage cabinets. Ideally suited for a wide range of storage needs, Lista's cabinets can be custom configured for military facilities and air, land and sea rapid deployment missions. Lista cabinets fit a large variety of military ISO containers, tactical shelters, trailers and other mobility applications.
The unique Lista drawer is the all-important centerpiece of every cabinet and workspace system. It can be subdivided to create custom compartments for the ideal organization of tools, sets, kits and outfits. It can store a wide variety of components, including Class 91X, ASL, I'LL and even weapons.
To help government agencies accomplish their goals, Lista storage and workspace solutions:
* enhance productivity.
* are ergonomically designed to reduce stress and strain.
* maximize available space.
* provide clean, organized and secure storage.
* can complement the unique aesthetic characteristics of a facility.
* can be custom configured to meet unique needs.
* improve inventory management.
* protect expensive equipment, instruments, tools and parts.
* are rugged and durable for decades of use.
Lista cabinets recently passed the U.S. Army I Test Center, I Proving Ground, Md., vibration and over-the-road rough terrain test.
At Schriever Air Force Base, Colo., the 310th Security Forces Squadron is charged with protecting the base and providing ground defense. The squadron warehouse once utilized inefficient shelving and nesting boxes to store its valuable equipment. Now, stacked Lista modular drawer storage cabinets and a Lista issue counter help the unit to maximize organization and keep everything from night vision goggles to Kevlar helmets to artillery rounds safe, secure and accessible to authorized personnel. The half rows of Lista cabinets take up a lot less space than the previous solution, and the lockable and labeled drawers provide a completely controlled storage system.
The U.S. State Department was transforming a dormant building into a new technical training annex and they needed lab workspace systems that would maximize their somewhat limited space. By working with an array of workbenches and cabinets from Lista, the department's facility manager was able to create a space-efficient, aesthetically pleasing workspace conducive to hands-on learning. Industrial workbenches with butcher block worksurfaces house an array of electronics equipment-everything from diodes to large control units-with drawers custom configured to create an organized home for electronic parts, accessories and soldering tools. Mobile benches bring even more flexibility to the facility, as they are moved from lab to lab depending on need.
Jim Sutton, section chief and facility manager of the Diplomatic Security Training Center, claims, "Lista's superior craftsmanship and the versatility of their workstation solutions were the deciding factors in our choosing Lista over the competition. Thanks to Lista, we have optimized the space in our training labs."
Custom designed to meet an organization's specific storage needs, Lista storage systems provide the greatest possible density, organization and access. Moreover, because the systems are ergonomically designed with the user in mind, they allow for easy, safe access with a minimum of stress and strain. It is easy to understand why the benefits of Lista's modular workspace solutions go far beyond providing efficient storage space. Simply put, Lista makes workspace work.
The Army announced in November that it is implementing a unit-based stop-loss policy for mobilized reserve component (RC) units. Mobilized RC soldiers will continue on active duty with their units from alert through 90 days after demobilization. The new policy applies to RC units currently mobilized and to all future RC unit mobilizations.
